George Zimmerman's Lawyers Withdraw From The Case

I'd commented that any lawyer would tell Zimmerman not to put up that crazy website*, and, well, they weren't asked.

Right now I'm trying to find a source other than Zimmerman's father on Sean Hannity for Zimmerman's leafletting* in Sanford after a police lieutenant's son wasn't charged for punching a homeless guy in the back of the head.

NBC fires producer over edited Zimmerman 911 call.Heard about this on the radio yesterday, and was surprised to hear from my cousin that everything other than the firing had been all over the news for a week.  Pretty sure it hasn't showed up here, and I think it's important, both because the edited call has had a lot of influence over the narrative ( Read more... )

Within 12 hours I learned of two things getting more attention. In one, police killed someone for no reason that makes any sense at all, and in another they only just beat the living daylights out of him.

Whenever a shooting is in the news I tend to watch for Hradzka's analysis and commentary. These have usually been after mass shootings, like Tech, or like what happened in Norway (or Ft Hood); in this case he's writing about a single person shot, but in a situation with no witnesses to the actual event, and musing about what information the press ( Read more... )

I noticed elsejournal someone's comment that this wasn't really on most people's radar*, and realized that my concept of "on the radar" may be quite skewed.
